Featured Listing Terms & Rules

These terms explain how Featured visibility works on {{platform_name}} for both 1‑Month Featured and 1‑Year Featured (30% OFF) plans. These rules apply to all vendors who purchase Featured visibility.

1. Overview

Featured visibility is an optional paid upgrade that places your listing above standard listings across search results, categories, and other high‑visibility areas on the platform. Featured listings receive higher exposure and are marked with a “Featured” badge to improve trust and visibility.

You may purchase Featured visibility on a monthly or annual basis.

2. Featured – 1 Month (One‑Time Upgrade)

What You Get

• 1 listing featured for 30 days
• Priority placement across search and category pages
• A “Featured” badge applied to your listing
• Immediate activation after successful purchase

Rules

• Feature applies to one (1) listing only.
• After 30 days, the featured status expires automatically.
• The vendor may repurchase the Featured upgrade anytime.
• Featured expiration does not affect the listing itself — it remains published under standard visibility.
• No automatic renewal (manual purchase each time).

Switching Featured Listings

For the monthly plan, switching featured listings is not included.
You must purchase a new Featured boost to feature a different listing.

3. Featured – 1 Year (30% OFF)

What You Get

• One (1) active Featured slot for 365 days
• You may switch which listing uses the Featured slot at any time
• Priority placement across search and categories for whichever listing is currently featured
• Continuous visibility all year
• 30% discount compared to buying monthly boosts

Rules

• You may have only one listing featured at a time.
• Each activation of the Featured slot applies for a 30‑day visibility cycle.
• After a cycle ends, you may reapply the slot to:
  • the same listing, or
  • a different listing
• Featured slot availability remains active for the full 365‑day term.
• No automatic renewal — you must repurchase annually when it expires.

Switching Featured Listings (Yearly Plan)

• You can switch which listing is featured anytime during your 365‑day term.
• Switching does not extend the 365‑day duration.

4. Expiration & Notifications

Monthly Featured

• Expires automatically after 30 days.
• By default, vendors do not receive automatic expiration emails unless enabled.
• Vendors can check Featured status anytime in their vendor dashboard.

Annual Featured

• Membership duration: 365 days.
• Featured slot can be reused throughout the year, but the plan itself expires after 365 days.
• No automatic renewal or expiration notifications unless enabled.

5. Refunds & Changes

• Featured purchases are non‑refundable once activated.
• If a listing is removed, edited, or suspended, the Featured time continues running.
• Featured status cannot be transferred to another vendor.
• Annual plans cannot be downgraded mid‑term.

6. Visibility Guarantee

Featured status increases visibility but does not guarantee:

• A certain number of clicks
• A certain number of leads
• A certain number of hires or sales

Featured simply ensures your listing is placed above non‑featured listings for the duration of your plan.

7. Abuse, Fair Use & Enforcement

To ensure fair exposure for all users:

• Only one active Featured slot per vendor (for Annual plan)
• Termination or abuse (spam, misleading listings, harmful content) may result in Featured removal without refund
• Duplicate or misleading listings are prohibited

Monthly Featured

• One‑time payment
• No automatic renewal

Annual Featured

• One‑time payment
• No automatic renewal
• Renewal is optional but recommended for continuous visibility
